Focus Meditation Music 3-Hour Session - Candle Flame What is focus meditation? How to practice focus meditation? What is the spiritual significance of practicing focus meditation disciplines? I have more videos to come dedicated to answering these exact questions and more in great depth. Here, I'll try to condense my explanation of 'focus meditation' as a practical and spiritual discipline to accompany this video. Later, I'll include links to my full instruction videos and material where you can learn all you need to know for how to practice focus meditation, as well as the spiritual significance of practicing such disciplines. I'm privileged to offer this message in service to your spiritual education and development. You can think of me as a guide here on YouTube. You can call me Ra. I use 'Ra' as a pseudonym both online and artistically to protect my personal privacy. In my own words, focus meditation is a spiritual and mental training discipline which naturally has positive practical benefits as well as a three-fold spiritual significance. First we practice focus meditation to train our ability to focus the mind - our ability to mentally concentrate and hold a mental focus on a single object of our undivided attention. In this, we 'still the mind'. Second, we practice focus meditation to 'silence the mind' and all the mental chatter. These are the two main positive practical benefits of focus meditation practice - to build a mental state of equanimity. There's a hidden third spiritual significance of focus meditation. By 'stilling and silencing the mind' we unlock, and begin to open up within the self, the one and only way we may contact and personally know God. This is the spiritual significance of focus meditation. 'Be still and know God'. For, the only way to contact and know God is from within the self from within the silence of our own awareness. Furthermore, the only way to contact God is within 'stillness' and 'silence'. This is a mental 'state of being' we must build our self from within the self if we truly desire to know God - our higher power. The spiritual goal is to bring our mind into alignment with God by creating this mental state of stillness, wholeness, and 'at-one-ment' through focus training. We build this mental state of being through mental focus training, engaging in focus meditation disciplines as a consistent spiritual daily practice. Understand, the focus meditation is the vehicle that takes us to God by creating the necessary mental state that allows us to contact and know God from within. Of course there's more to it when it comes to cultivating a spiritual mind and personal Mastery that I cover in other videos. The focus meditation serves as the foundation of our spiritual development. Think of the focus meditation training disciplines as like the spiritual form of what we do when we physical exercise the body at the gym. If we can combine focus meditation discipline with physical exercise, together as a consistent daily self-care ritual and lifestyle, that would be a perfect service to our personal well being. That is what I personally do and I have done for many years that allows me to deliver this message, that I may guide others. If you're new to focus meditation, the perfect training tool to use is a simple candle flame to focus on - candle focus meditation. In the beginning especially, we start by training with a candle flame. Once we're thoroughly adept at holding a mental focus for a meaningful length of time, say for at least one-minute, we may further our training with other forms of focus meditation. I will teach how to practice focus meditation in a separate video. Happy Focusing! π₯ Just keep the fire burning! ~Ra *** Recommended Reading ****** π₯There's a short story that I highly recommend that serves as a perfect instruction manual for how to practice focus meditation as well as how to awaken extraordinary powers of the mind through mental focus. This is the book that I started my focus meditation journey with in 2005 and personally unlocked many remarkable powers of mind through my consistent practice of focus mediation over many years. My personal story is a story for another day. The book is, "The Wonderful Story Of Henry Sugar" by Roald Dahl. π₯ Also, the one book that has always been my primary source of spiritual education is called, "Life And Teaching Of The Masters Of The Far East" by Baird T. Spalding (six-volume-set). That book has always served as my spiritual bible. ********* β€οΈβπ₯ How To Show Your Support β€οΈβπ₯ π₯ 'Like'/Share this video βοΈ Buy me a coffee: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=VXWNEMEY2T7AE π₯ Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/@TheWayTheLife ********* * I do not own the rights to the music in this video.
